Rimmel Nude Kate Moss Lipstick Review

Rimmel Nude Kate Moss Lipstick 43
Introducing Rimmel's new Kate Moss collaboration, the Nude collection. I got this on the day it came out, it was mostly sold out in 3 large Boots' that I work near, the only colour that remained was the 'Tan Nude' which is shade 43.

Although this colour isn't right for me, after trialing it (in the privacy of my own flat, obvs) I really like the formula! It reminds me of MAC's cremesheen formula. As you can see by the swatch below its really pigmented, thats one swipe. I love that in a nude lipstick. I feel like a super sheer formula in a nude lipstick is a bit silly, you may as well of just swiped on lip balm, anyone else agree?

I'm really looking to get my hands on shade 45, a rose nude, which is more my kind of natural lip colour. After trying this shade, on formula alone I would definitely buy another. It cost around £6 and goes on (and smells!) like a MAC, which is what every gal wants from her drugstore lippy.

Have any of you tried Rimmel & Kates latest collab? If so leave your thoughts in the comments below, I'm really interested to find out if there is truly a nude for everyone in this range!

  1. Great post! I looked at shade 43 but it seemed too brown toned for me. I picked up shade 45 & have been rather impressed with it, though mine does smell of play dough like the REALLY old Rimmel lipsticks used to. Xx
