Another day, another foundation review, eh? Foundation is one of the things that I tend to be most drawn to into the beautysphere. I'm always looking for that perfect, holy grail, skin perfecting 'wonder' foundation. I have to say that the latest addition to my collection is damn near close to just that. The Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation Stick is absolutely fabulous. Its a supremely creamy stick foundation and like nothing I've ever felt on my skin before. It glides on like butter, not that you'd want butter on your skin but thats the only way I can accurately describe the texture to you guys!

Let me start with the vast array of pros to this wonderful foundation. First of all the stick format it comes in means that it is the easiest to apply, no pumping onto the back of your hand or blending with your fingers needed. Just a few swipes of the stick (4 max needed, can even believe!?) and a bit of buffing and your base is done and practically perfect in every way. The creaminess of the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation Stick means that it sinks seamlessly into the skin, it doesn't sit on top or cake up during the day. It works with your natural skin and is almost intuitive as to how your face moves, meaning it doesn't crease up into fine lines or when you smile loads in a day. Moreover, because you need such little product to get a medium perfect coverage, the foundation can be built up. This means its great to throw in your handbag for touchups before you go out on the town. Amazing, huh?

The Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation Stick stays on me for a full work day and then some. It looks beautiful with or without powder and doesn't oxidise as soon as it touches your face.

The only cons of this foundation is that if you have very oily skin you would have to powder your T-Zone to get the most out of the long wear time of it. The other con is that if you have super dry dehydrated flaky skin you absolutely must use a hydrating primer or moisturiser before application, as with the oil content of the foundation your skin will drink up the moisture.

Other than that, this has made it two my top 3 foundations of all time and is my favourite foundation of 2016 already.

The Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation Stick is available in 15 shades at £29 here.
