Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel

The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is a super hyped product in the beauty blogging world. If you've been around or following beauty bloggers in any way shape or form, you will of heard of this cleanser. A month or so ago, I had earned a cheeky little N.Dudge Space NK reward which made me rush to my local Space NK to treat myself to a bottle of  the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, I wanted to see what the big fuss was about!

So first things first, I am a hard core oil cleanser lover, I like a balm every now and again, but oil is my total bae when it comes to cleansing. I had researched the Renaissance Cleansing Gel beforehand and knew that although it came out as a gel texture it then turned into a gel/oil hybrid, which is halfway up my street and I thought this would be the perfect summer cleanser.

I'll start by saying the things I like about the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. I love the smell, it smells like a Moroccan rose garden, sweet and a little spicy, which makes it lovely to use. I also really like how throughly clean my skin feels after using it. It emulsifies nicely too, not too milky so it runs off you face and you have to wash it off asap, just the right amount. After using it for two weeks straight I have noticed that my skin is a lot brighter and not as dull as before due to the AHAs in the product - meaning I can skip the acid toning and leave it to every other day. Great news! I have also fond it to be very firming on my skin so I think this would be an awesome one for older skin.

Now onto the not so wonderful thing. You have to use an awful lot when you are removing a full face of make up, about 4/5 pumps to be exact. Its definitely one to either take off your eye make up before you use this, or a second cleanse kind of cleanser. Now because I am a lover of an oil cleanse it might be why I felt like I needed more on my face but for me, thats what worked to get my everyday make up off. I am going to see how I go with this cleanser in terms of the longevity of the bottle I have. If it lasts ages when I use that much to remove my make up then this is an excellent cleanser and worth the money.

This is a really good cleanser if you discount having to use a lot, I'd love to hear someone else's opinion about this so leave your thoughts in the comments below if you've tried it!

The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is available here for £29.50
