Three Products That Disappointed Me

I'm not usually one to be a negative nelly around here but I like to have balance on here by telling you the good and the bad in beauty from my experience with it. What's life without balance, I am a libra you see. So out of everything I test, there are a few things that don't quite do it for me, and here is why...

Lush FOMO Jelly Mask

When Lush bought these out I was super excited, a lot of their other masks I can't use because they have pure almonds in, and I'm super allergic to nuts so that ruled those out for me, but these don't seem to have those nut pieces in so I was completely on board. Also the concept of them really interested me. Who doesn't love a novelty, especially when it comes to beauty?

Onto the reason this disappointed me. The mixture is just too damn thick to get a good application on your face, so it ends up being really patchy with lumps of jelly everywhere which is so frustrating. Its the only downfall which for me is too significant for me to repurchase. If there were a slightly thinner consistency they would be perfect as the actual ingredients work a treat. It does calm my skin down but the effort it takes is just too much.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

This setting spray, to be fair to it, has a lot to live up to. Not only is it a total cult product of the beauty industry for both Make Up Artists and the Beauty experts alike, but it's one of the best selling setting sprays in the world. So why did this disappoint me? THE PACKAGING. Good god, it's the worst packaging EVER, I'm not even being dramatic. I bought the travel sized version to test out this holy grail spray and on the first use I pulled the (first, yep it has two) lid off and the second lid and pump came off with it spilling three quarters of the product in my lap. Absolutely gutting. What is the point of this and having two lids as well?! In terms of the product inside the awful packaging, it's really underwhelming. I have to admit that the NYX Setting Spray makes make up last so much longer, you get more bang for your buck and a dry lap when you use it.

Glossier Priming Moisturiser

I know, something bad about glossier, shocker. I love so much of their stuff since buy pretty much all of it and testing it out but this is the one thing that I just can't get along with. Its a really thin moisturiser, and its supposed to go under make up, hence the priming right? Wrong. It made every single foundation, light or heavy (even a tinted moisturiser!) look cakey on my skin. It revealed every dry patch ever, meaning the moisturised essentially wasn't working to give my skin enough hydration to stop my skin drinking my foundation. Totally gutted and I wanted to love it so bad!

Let me know below if a product has let you down recently!
