It's that time again guys, as we come to the end of 2017, I always find it hard to narrow down the stand out products of the year, but this year I've discovered some new things, some old favourites and gone through bottles and bottles of some things I can't live without. Prepare yourself for a big old round up of the stuff that has completely rocked my world this year...
MAKE UP
The thing that I find the hardest to pinpoint is my favourite foundation from the year. It's the thing that I trail the most, because who doesn't want better skin? I will say that although there were a lot that impressed me this year, the Clinique Beyond Perfecting 2 in 1 Foundation was the one that came out on top for me. It replaced my life long love for Doublewear and became my number one favourite foundation. It does it all, perfects the skin, covers imperfections and it non drying all while being one of the most glowy, full coverage foundations I have ever put on my face. Bravo Clinique! I always get so many compliments when I wear this.
In terms of other base products my blush, contour and highlight loves are similar to last year. MAC Warm Soul Blush, MAC Soft & Gentle and Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder are the three things I still couldn't put down. I also found a love for the amazing multi-tasking MAC 135 brush - a must for applying all of the above.
Onto eyes, Charlotte Tilbury Bette became a solid 'Can't live without' product this year, its gorgeous bronzey-ness and blendibility (both not words, but both total facts) were the things that I loved at first sight, but after using it every work day for most of the year, the fact that it stays for a good 12 hours solidified it in my hall of fame. 2017 for me was the year of saving a bit of cash, so with the lack of LVL's I had done, I needed a mascara that did it all. In walks Maybelline Lash Sensational, after a short love affair with Volume De Chanel, I went back to the Maybelline and couldn't get over how similar and actually better it was. I have since repurchased it around 4 times, no regrets.
The lip colours I fell in love with in in 2017 were few but the love was real. Glossier Zip had my heart instantly. It's a true red that looks blotted and is so easy to apply without a mirror, the perfect french girl red. I also found my perfect matte nude in the form of MAC Honeylove & Spice lipliner the perfect nude for us pale gals.

SKINCARE
2017 was the year I committed myself to skincare. I found two cleanser favourites which made my double cleanse a dream - Clinique Take The Day Off & Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser two very different but very effective cleansers. Clinique's offering removes absolutely everything and could be used alone but Glossier provides some serious glow. I couldn't recommend the two of them more and I will replacing both as soon as they have run out.
For toning I have been adoring Pixi's Hydrating Milky Mist it gives my skin the extra boost of hydration it needs after cleansing and acid toning. For acids I have fallen head over heels for this year is The Ordinary's 7% Toning Solution which gave me that bit of extra boost after my skin had got slightly used to Pixi Glow Tonic.
My favourite mask still remains the Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Refining Mask, It just works every time my skin needs a boost and a clean. This is followed closely by the Soap & Glory Speed Plump Mask - a must for dry winter skin.
A late favourite as it was only bought at the beginning of December is the Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Night Cream - its honestly a product I have been looking for for years. I use it alongside my beloved Vichy Serum and my skin has never been this hydrated in my entire life, I have had zero problems with dryness this winter and that is a first. In love!

BODY CARE
For body care, there isn't really too much report. Ameliorate stands ever firmly in my 2017 favourites as it did in 2016, its a body cream that works for me and has truly changed the way I feel about my skin. It gave me the confidence to wear things I wouldn't of before because of my KP and for that I couldn't be happier with a product.
I also got my own bath in my new place in 2017 and explored more bath products. Zoella's Bath Frosting made a huge impact on my bath life this year, creating a ton of bubbles, a gorgeous scent and softened skin it was a total dark horse product that really surprised me.

HAIRCARE
In mid-2017 i went for the big chop and looked after my hair better than I ever have. I wanted hair that looked as sassy as I felt inside. Two OUAI products blew my mind, one of them being a 2016 rerun - the Hair Oil and the other being the Texture Spray. The oil kept my hair nourished and frizz free and the texture spray kept my hair voluminous and piecey, both amazing products.
And thats all folks! I have a huge amount of products that I could have put on here but I had to narrow it down to my absolute holy grails! Let me know in the comments down below your top three products of the year!
